Profibus-DP to Fiber Optic Converter

The device utilizes a large-scale FPGA design and incorporates proprietary technology. It supports transmission of 1 channel Profibus-DP to fiber optic, with a communication speed ranging from 0 to 12 Mbps. The device is rated IP40 for protection and features a reinforced casing made of corrugated aluminum, suitable for 35mm DIN rail installation. It accepts wide power supply inputs of both AC and DC (9~55V), offering advantages such as power redundancy and isolation protection. With a working temperature range of -40 to 75°C, it can meet the requirements of various industrial environments, providing a convenient fiber optic communication solution. Additionally, it can be optionally equipped with 1+1 fiber optic backup protection.

● The device is designed for paired use, with signal input on the local end and signal output on the remote end.

● It provides 1 channel of Profibus DP fieldbus with adaptive communication baud rates ranging from 9600 to 12 Mbps.

● It supports both multi-mode and single-mode fiber options. The multi-mode fiber can transmit up to 2 km, while the single-mode fiber can transmit between 20 and 120 km. ST/SC/FC interfaces are available for selection.

● Two optical interfaces are provided, with optional dual-port 1+1 protection (APS) functionality.

● It features signal fault protection and a comprehensive display of electrical and fiber optic operation status.

● The Profibus DP interface has lightning protection in accordance with IEC61000-4-5 (8/20μS) standards, with a differential mode of 6 kV and impedance of 2Ω, and a common mode of 6 kV and impedance of 2Ω.
