This device uses digital encoding technology to achieve long-distance bidirectional transmission through a single-mode fiber optic cable, enabling the transmission of 8 channels of 3Gbps HD-SDI video signals and 8 channels of audio interfaces (RCA). It can transmit signals up to 80 kilometers without distortion or the need for relays.
The supported signal formats range from 270Mbps to 2.97Gbps and include SMPTE424M, SMPTE292, SMPTE344M, SMPTE259M, and DVB-ASI (270M), which are digital television formats.
● The device is a fully aluminum alloy chassis with full gold anodization, designed in a 19-inch 1U rack-mounted style.
● This device is intended for paired use, where the video signal is input on one end and output on the other end.
● It automatically detects SD, HD, and 3G inputs, supporting rates ranging from 270Mbit/s to 1.48Gbit/s to 3Gbit/s. Additionally, it supports the new FULL HD 1080P/60HZ 3Gbps HD-SDI format, allowing for a maximum transmission distance of up to 80 km.
● It supports various digital television formats, including SMPTE 424M (2.97Gbps/s), SMPTE 292M (1.485Gbps/s), SMPTE 344M (540Mb/s), SMPTE 259M (360Mb/s), and DVB-ASI (270Mb/s).
● The transmitter is equipped with automatic cable equalization, providing support for distances of 80M at 2.97Gb/s, 140M at 1.485Gb/s, and 250M at 270Mb/s.
● Both the transmitter and receiver feature LED indicators that display the status of the SDI and audio signal connections.
● The audio interface utilizes RCA unbalanced connectors and offers a high dynamic range. The audio is processed using 24-bit AD/DA conversion at a sampling rate of 128K, ensuring professional-grade transmission quality.
● The video interface features three-level lightning protection, capable of passing the ITU-T K.21 (10/700 μS) test with a common mode of 6KV and an impedance of 40Ω.
● The device can be powered by either AC220 or DC-48V/+24V supply.
