Overview

The basic function of this model FC-2110 is to convert USB to 1 channel 6KV lightning protection high-speed RS485 + 1 channel RS232. The working power of this product is supplied by the USB port, and no external power supply is required. It adopts unique automatic transmission and reception conversion technology without delay, plug and play suitable for all software, and has transmission and reception enable control. When in standby state without sending data, the output is high-impedance state, supporting multi-point communication.

Different from other similar cheap products on the market, this product:

● Industrial-grade operating temperature (-40 to +85 degrees),

● Serial port 6KV three-level lightning protection (10/700us current wave, internal resistance 40Ω),

● Gold USB built-in TVS protection (±15kV-air and ±8kV-contact),

● Unique 5LED lights, power supply:red light, 2*serial port receiving: orange light, 2*serial port sending: green light.

Features

● Full-speed USB device interface, compatible with USB v2.0.

● Emulate standard serial port, used to upgrade the original serial port peripherals, or add additional serial ports through USB.

● The serial port application under the Windows operating system on the computer is fully compatible and does not need to be modified.

● The hardware has a built-in transmit and receive buffer, 1 high-speed RS485 communication baud rate of 1200bps~10Mbps, 1 RS232 communication baud rate of 1200bps~256Kbps

● Applicable to operating systems: Win98/2K/XP, WIN10/WIN11 system 32/64 bits.

● The RS485 communication line should be copper shielded twisted pair with a cross-sectional area of5mm or more. The maximum communication distance is 3000 meters (4800bps), 2000 meters (9600bps), and 1000 meters (115.2Kbps).

● The minimum number of RS485 group network points is 128, and the maximum number of group network points is determined by the RS485 input impedance of each site.

● 5 LED indicators: power: red light, 2*serial data receiving: orange light, 2*serial data sending: green light, convenient for monitoring status.

● Gold USB port, power USB power supply, working current working current <30mA, USB interface protection: electrostatic protection up to ±15kV (air) and ±8kV (contact), EFT protection up to 40A (5/50ns), lightning protection up to 5A (8/20us)

● The serial interface has three levels of lightning protection, lightning protection reaches GB/T17626.5 (IEC61000-4-5) short-circuit current wave 10/700μs open-circuit peak output voltage 6KV, internal resistance 40Ω standard;

● Wide temperature type: working temperature -40℃~ +85℃;All models have passed 100% baking machine test;

● USB directly connected to computer Lightning test: The serial interface can pass: short-circuit current wave 10/700μs, open circuit peak voltage 6KV, internal resistance 40Ω lightning test

● +85 degrees high temperature test:In the aging box set to +85 degrees, the converter can work normally without packet loss or crash
