This device provides 2 ports RS232/422/485 transmission over fiber optic. Each serial port supports all three interfaces: RS232, RS422, and RS485. It supports multiple fiber optic network topologies, including point-to-point communication, linear networks, star networks, and redundant ring networks with self-healing protection. It can also create more complex network topologies based on these basic structures.
● The device provides 1-2 serial ports, with each port simultaneously offering RS232/422/485 interfaces (interface type can be set via DIP switches) for easy on-site service activation.
● It can automatically detect and control RS-485 data flow without handshake signals to control data direction. Additionally, it can automatically detect the baud rate of the serial port signal.
● It has two fiber optic lines, and in the event of a line failure, it can automatically switch between them to ensure uninterrupted communication.
● The optical interfaces support three fiber optic transmission modes: multi-mode dual fiber, single-mode dual fiber, and single-mode single fiber. Optional SC/ST/FC/LC interfaces are available.
● It supports multiple fiber optic network structures, including point-to-point, star, linear, and redundant ring networks. These structures can be combined to create more complex network topologies.
● The serial channels can transmit asynchronous serial data with adaptive baud rates ranging from 300 to 115200bps.
● The serial port interfaces provide lightning protection according to the IEC61000-4-5 standard (10/700μS): 6KV for differential mode with an impedance of 40Ω, and 6KV for common mode with an impedance of 40Ω.
● The device supports a wide range of AC/DC input, it features internal isolation and redundant dual power inputs. It supports overload protection and reverse connection protection for the power supply.
