The 2-channel isolated RS485 hub has 2 completely electrically isolated RS485 channels, each with independent RS485 transceivers and low transmission latency. It complies with the RS485 standard and supports transparent and protocol-independent RS485 message transmission, making it suitable for various applications such as the Modbus protocol. The uplink port of the RS485 hub is an RS485 port for connecting monitoring devices such as PCs to the network.
Each channel of the isolated RS485 hub has a 6kV lightning protection capability, optocoupler isolation, and an isolation voltage of up to 2.5KV. Each channel also has an independent ground, which ensures that if one RS485 bus is damaged, the devices on other RS485 buses will be protected. Each RS485 port can carry up to 128 nodes, and each RS485 port and power port has a 6kV lightning protection capability.
● The 2-port isolated RS485 hub is designed for industrial use, with complete communication isolation, stable and reliable performance, and a maximum transmission rate of up to 300Kbps.
● Each RS485 channel has a 6kV lightning protection capability, and 2.5KV optocoupler isolation, and it comes with an independent shielded ground interface and LED indicators.
● Automatic data flow control technology allows for automatic identification and control of data transmission direction.
● It supports multi-node communication, with each RS485 channel capable of carrying up to 128 enhanced nodes, and a maximum transmission distance of 1500 meters.
● Each RS485 channel is powered by an isolated voltage of 2500V DC-DC, with high-speed optocoupler isolation for communication signals, achieving electrical isolation between ports.
● The RS485 interface has three levels of lightning protection, meeting the GB/T17626.5 (IEC61000-4-5) short-circuit current wave 10/700μs, open circuit peak output voltage of 6KV, and internal resistance of 40 ohms standard.
● It supports a wide range of 5-70V AC and DC power inputs, with a power interface having a 6kV lightning protection capability.
