The basic function of this model FC-2008 is a conversion from USB to 4 channel 3KV isolation /6KV lightning protection RS232. The working power supply of this product is supplied by a USB port without an external power supply. It adopts unique non-delay automatic transceiver conversion technology, plug and play suitable for all software, and has transceiver enable control. When no data is sent, the output is in a high resistance state and supports multi-point communication.

Unlike other similar cheap products on the market, this product:

● Industrial-grade operating temperature (-40 to +85 degrees),

● Serial port 3KV isolation (access AC~380V non-burning USB port)/6KV three-level lightning protection (10/700us current wave, internal resistance 40Ω)

● USB built-in TVS protection (±15kV-air and ±8kV-contact),

Features

● Full-speed USB device interface, compatible with USB v2.0.

● Emulate a standard serial port, used to upgrade the original serial port peripherals, or add an additional serial port through USB.

● The serial port application program under the Windows operating system on the computer side is fully compatible and does not need to be modified.

● The hardware has a built-in transceiver buffer, each serial port has its own isolation chip, and supports communication baud rates of 1200bps to 256kbps

● 4 Channel RS232 serial port and USB interface with 3KV isolation, when connected to AC~220V or AC~380V high voltage for a long time, only the RS232 interface will be burned, and the USB port and connected equipment will not be burned.

● Applicable operating system: Win98/2K/XP, WIN10/WIN11 system 32/64 bit.

● 5 LED indicator lights: power light, 4Channel serial port data sending and receiving two-color lights, convenient for monitoring status.

● TYPE B USB port, power supply USB power supply, working current <30mA, USB interface protection: electrostatic protection can reach ±15kV (air) and ±8kV (contact), EFT protection can reach 40A (5/50ns), lightning protection can Up to 5A (8/20us).

● RS232 interface has three levels of lightning protection, radar protection to GB/T17626.5 (IEC61000-4-5) short circuit current wave 10/700μs open circuit peak output voltage 6KV, internal resistance 40Ω standard;
