Description :

This 8-Port Ethernet over E1 Converter converter is based on FPGA, using reverse direction multiplexing technology to bundle multiple E1 circuits to transmit the Ethernet data of 100BASE-TX.

Overview

This 8-Port Ethernet over E1 Converter uses inverse multiplexing technology to bundle multiple E1 circuits together for transmitting 10/100M Ethernet data. It can achieve bidirectional conversion between 1-8 E1 and Ethernet interfaces, enabling interconnection between E1 and Ethernet. The Ethernet encapsulation uses GFP encapsulation and supports LCAS and LAPS.

 

It supports flexible configuration of 1-8 E1 (75/120 ohms) channels, can automatically detect the number of E1s and select available ones, and allows for a certain transmission delay difference between E1 circuits. The line rate of a single E1 circuit is 1984Kbit/s, and the total bandwidth of 8 channels can reach 15872Kbit/s.

Features

Realize ethernet data transparent transmission in 1-8 E1 circuits;

Inter-set dynamic Ethernet MAC address (4,096) with local data frame filtering function;

Single channel lines rate is 1984Kbit/s, 8-channel Bandwidth is up to 15872Kbit/s;

Support all sets of Ethernet Work Mode;

CRC automatic alarm threshold can be set to isolate the poor quality transmission lines and cut off a single direction. When the 2M branch circuit one direction error rate exceeds the threshold, cutting off this direction the other direction is not affected; that is to say, both of the Ethernet direction transmission can be asymmetric;

Allow 8-channel E1 transmission time delay difference 100ms. When the margin exceeds the allowed range, the system can automatically stop on the E1 the time delay is too large to send data;

E1 interface conforms to ITU-T G.703, G.704 and G.823, not support the use of signal timeslot;

E1 interface module with inter-set clock recovery circuit and HDB3 code circuit;

Support E1 channel hot-plug in the device, and automatically detects the effective;

Can support 8-channel E1 channel configuration, can automatically detect the number of E1 and select the E1 available.
