The device features basic functions of USB to 2-channel 3KV isolation/6KV lightning protection high-speed RS485 conversion. The product is powered by a USB port and does not require an external power supply. It utilizes a unique zero-delay automatic transmit/receive conversion technology, making it plug-and-play compatible with all software. It also has transmit/receive enable control and enters a high-impedance state when not sending data, supporting multi-point communication.


Distinguishing itself from other similar inexpensive products in the market, this product offers the following features:

Industrial-grade operating temperature range (-40℃ to +85℃)

3KV isolation (can withstand AC ~ 380V without damaging the USB port) and 6KV lightning protection (10/700us current wave, internal resistance of 40Ω) for the serial ports 

Built-in TVS protection for the gold-plated USB interface (±15kV in the air, ±8kV on contact)

Equipped with 5 LED lights: red for power, orange for receiving on the two serial ports, and green for transmitting on the two serial ports.


The device features a full-speed USB device interface, compatible with USB v2.0.

It emulates standard serial ports for upgrading existing peripheral devices or adding additional serial ports via USB.

It is fully compatible with serial port applications on Windows operating systems, requiring no modifications.

The hardware has fully integrated transmit/receive buffers, and the 2-channel RS485 interfaces support communication baud rates ranging from 1200bps to 10Mbps.

It is suitable for operating systems such as Win98/2K/XP, WIN10/WIN11 32/64-bit systems.

The communication cables should be made of shielded twisted pairs with a cross-sectional area of at least 0.5mm copper wire. The maximum communication distances are 3000 meters (4800bps), 2000 meters (9600bps), and 1000 meters (115.2Kbps).

The minimum number of networked sites is 128, and the maximum number of networked sites is determined by the RS485 input impedance of each site.

The device is equipped with 5 LED indicators: a red light for power, an orange light for data received on the two serial ports, and a green light for data transmitted on the two serial ports, providing convenient status monitoring.

The RS485 serial port is equipped with 3KV isolation, ensuring that when exposed to long-term high voltage of AC220V or AC380V, only the RS485 interface is affected, while the USB port and connected devices remain protected.

The RS485 interface features three-level lightning protection, meeting the GB/T17626.5 (IEC61000-4-5) standards, with a short-circuit current wave of 10/700μs and an open-circuit peak output voltage of 6KV, and an internal resistance of 40Ω.

Working temperature from -40℃ to +85℃.

The device has passed 100% burn-in testing.
