RS232 Opto-Isolator

This device is an RS232 isolator that employs a passive conversion method through serial port port-powered technology. It features an internal interface with electrostatic protection and possesses strong anti-interference characteristics. It uses a 3-wire 3KV isolation technique, which significantly safeguards RS-232 serial interface devices from potential damages caused by ground loop voltages, surges, induced lightning strikes, static electricity, hot-plug, and other harsh conditions. The product is plug-and-play, highly adaptable to various environments, and supports a high rate of up to 256Kbps. It can also amplify and extend serial port signals.

● The RS232 baud rate is adaptive from 300 to 256Kbps.

● It has an isolation voltage of 3000V, which improves the device’s versatility by serial port power theft technology.

● It complies with the EIA RS-232 and CCITT V.28/V.24 asynchronous protocols.

● The isolated pins consist of three lines: receive (RX), transmit (TX), and ground (GND, 5P).

● Both RS232 interfaces are equipped with TVS protection to suppress electrostatic discharge and surge.

● It features DB9 connectors on both sides, with one side using a DB9 male connector and the other using a DB9 female connector.

● It supports transparent communication, allowing users to plug and play without the need for any debugging.

● Operation from -40°C to +85°C.

● The device has passed 100% burn-in testing.
