This device is a fiber media converter designed for industrial use, specifically for converting or extending network transmission between a 4-port 10/100/1000base-T twisted-pair interface and a 1000base-X fiber optic interface. It is primarily used for long-distance (20/40/60/80/100 kilometers) transmission in fiber optic networks. It features a gigabit fiber port and 4 gigabit Ethernet ports. It incorporates advanced alarm functions, ensuring stable and reliable operation, low power consumption, high integration, and a compact form factor.

 

The device is based on an Ethernet switching chip and the FPGA solution, is equipped with remote OAM frame management functionality. It supports Console management, WEB management, and independent SNMP management. Additionally, it can be interconnected with a 2U plug-in card with SNMP management capabilities, enabling centralized management of this device through SNMP software.

It has a built-in 1MBits high-speed cache to avoid video delay in fast-changing monitoring environments.

It supports the transmission of VLAN jumbo frames and can be used in conjunction with switch products that support the IEEE802.1Q protocol, supporting Ethernet packets of up to 10K bytes.
