Overview

Model Number: FC-056203

This product is a high-performance HDMI-to-3G/HD/SD-SDI signal converter. It enables the lossless conversion of HDMI digital signals into 3G/HD-SDI signals and is widely utilized in fields such as broadcast control rooms, non-linear editing systems, security surveillance, and large-screen display systems.

Features

● Low Jitter:Employs proprietary serialization technology to produce output signals with jitter levels significantly lower than those of consumer-grade chips, enabling reliable SDI cable transmission over longer distances.
● Advanced Color Processing: Supports RGB/YUV color space conversion and features 10-bit internal processing to ensure smooth, artifact-free images without color banding.
● Input Specifications: Supports the HDMI 1.4a standard and is backward compatible with earlier versions.
● Output Specifications: Supports SMPTE 424M (2.97 Gbps), SMPTE 292M (1.485 Gbps), SMPTE 344M (540 Mbps), SMPTE 259M (360 Mbps), and DVB-ASI (270 Mbps).
● Audio Embedding: Automatically embeds LPCM digital audio from the HDMI input into the SDI signal.
● Resolution Adaptive: Automatically detects the input resolution and matches it to the corresponding SDI data rate.
● Status Indication: Features LED indicators for power status and signal lock.
● Video Interface Protection: Provides three-level lightning surge protection, capable of passing ITU-T K.20 (10/700 µs) testing standards (Common Mode: 6kV; Impedance: 40 Ω).
● Power Supply: Supports 5V power input via a Type-C port.
● Fanless Cooling: Features a fanless design with highly efficient heat dissipation to minimize downtime and maintenance requirements.
● Mounting Options: Supports both 35mm DIN rail mounting and wall mounting.
● Application Scenarios:
– Multimedia System Integration: Converts HDMI outputs from laptops or HD media players into broadcast-grade SDI signals for connection to professional-grade SDI matrices or remote display devices, ensuring robust signal integrity and interference immunity in complex electromagnetic environments.
– Command Center Video Wall Display: Converts high-definition HDMI outputs from NVRs or workstations into SDI signals, transmitting them via existing BNC cabling infrastructure to large-screen video wall controllers for ultra-low-latency surveillance video display.
– Live Broadcasting & Professional Production: Converts HDMI signals from DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, or action cameras into SDI signals, enabling seamless integration with professional video switchers and facilitating stable, long-distance transmission (over 100 meters) via SDI cables.
