Industrial 1-Port Fast Ethernet Media Converter

This device is designed for the conversion of 100base-T to 100base-FX fiber, primarily for long-distance support in fiber network transmission (20/40/60/80/100/120 kilometers). It features one 100 Mbps fiber port and one 100 Mbps Ethernet electrical port. It incorporates automatic loopback detection for both electrical and optical ports, as well as the isolation of corresponding loopback and LFP functions.

● The device provides one 100 Mbps fiber port and one 100 Mbps Ethernet electrical port, with automatic adaptation to 10/100 Mbps environments. It supports full-duplex and half-duplex auto-negotiation, and enables automatic selection between crossover and straight-through connections for twisted-pair ports, facilitating system debugging and installation.

● The optical interface supports three fiber transmission modes: multi-mode dual-fiber, single-mode dual-fiber, and single-mode single-fiber. Optional SC/ST/FC/LC interfaces are available.

● It features error detection and system reboot on deadlock, making it suitable for high-volume data applications such as video transmission.

● It has automatic loopback detection for both electrical and optical ports and can isolate the corresponding loopback ports. It also has loop indicators to display loop status.

● It supports the LFP function, allowing alarms from the optical port to be transmitted to the ethernet port. This can be enabled or disabled using a DIP switch (optional).

● It supports the transmission of jumbo frames and can be used in conjunction with switches supporting the IEEE 802.1Q protocol.

● It has features such as broadcast storm protection, traffic balancing, conflict isolation, and error detection.

● The power supply has strong lightning protection capabilities, including lightning strike resistance, high-voltage induction resistance, and surge protection. The fanless design ensures efficient heat dissipation and reduces repair time.

● When dual DC power supply (5.08 terminal block):

  ● It supports a wide-range power supply of DC 9-55V or AC 7-50V. The power supply has automatic polarity detection, eliminating the need to distinguish between positive and negative poles during installation.

  ● It supports internal isolation and redundant dual power inputs, with reverse connection protection.

● When AC power supply (3-prong AC socket):

  ● It supports AC 85-265V AC or DC 110-300V DC wide-range input.

● It is available for DIN 35mm rail mounting or wall mounting.

● Wide temperature range: Operating temperature of -40°C to +85°C.
