This 4E1 TDM over Ethernet (IP) converter is mainly used to transmit E1 signals on the IP network. The TDM over Ethernet converter allows people to seamlessly and reliably connect TDM equipment.


The 4E1 TDM over Ethernet (IP) converter is mainly used for transmitting E1 signals over IP network. It allows operators and enterprises to seamlessly and reliably connect TDM equipment and user Ethernet over a standardized, low-cost wireless or wired Ethernet/IP infrastructure, without any impact on the quality of service.


TDM over IP is transparent to TDM signals and ensures the seamless connection of any device with a physical E1 interface, such as PBX, mobile base station, SS7 signaling equipment, and voice mail system. It can be used in IP-based communication systems, including LAN, WAN, MAN, and wireless networks.


The device has 4 E1 service ports, 2 10/100/1000M Ethernet ports, a 100/1000M adaptive SFP optical port, and a console management interface.

Arm cortex – M4 processor with a main frequency of 192 MHz is adopted;

Anodized aluminum alloy shell, IP40 protection grade, and can withstand the test of harsh environments;

The device is capable of transparently transmitting both framed and unframed E1 (N*64K) signals over IP network, which is in compliance with the relevant G.703 standards;

Clock recovery is achieved using a unique clock algorithm technology, which ensures stable frequency restoration and low jitter and drift. Furthermore, the recovered clock’s jitter and drift conform to the G.823/G.824 and G.8261 specifications;

It offers high transmission efficiency and low transmission latency. Ethernet packet length can be configured, and it supports jumbo frames. It also supports VLAN settings;

It supports E1 link loss indication function;

It supports local and remote E1 loopback functions, as well as local E1 enablement settings;

It offers high transmission efficiency, achieving up to 90% bandwidth utilization;

It supports online software and hardware upgrades for local and remote devices through WEB network management;

Multiple power supply modes are available: AC220V, dc-48v / DC24V, etc.
